Biography – Shaunagh Pugh
Shaunagh completed her Master of Psychology (Clinical) in Tasmania before relocating to Brisbane in 2023. She has experience working in both rural and urban settings, and is passionate about helping her clients through use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy-informed (DBT informed) approaches.
With a background in the early childhood space, Shaunagh is interested in understanding her clients on a holistic level and recognises that each client brings their unique lifestory into the therapy room. As such, creating a client-centred and collaborative therapeutic relationship is an important part of Shaunagh’s therapeutic style. She has a particular interest in working with young adults and adults, as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
